Description

...And I spent F*CKING ONE AND A HALF MONTH on a shit I can't even look at anymore while this took me one day. And all that remained from previous concept is the name.

A simple introduction sheet to my brand new Draìchoni species. I totally love the air and earth ones! :la:

NOTE: Draìchoni is plural verb. Singular is Draichon and the same rule applies to all four subspecies except for Aquoni, where singular form is Aquone.

Entry for #I-create-a-own-World's Golden Contest. Finally done.

Here go some fun facts:
:bulletorange: The Feuchoni live mostly on Lanterns Cape (see Enaugia: [link]). The name of the area came from their tradition of creating multicolored lanterns in shape of sheres and cubes at night and releasing them to float over the desert.
:bulletwhite: Though the Aerioni are flight masters, all the four subspecies have wings; bat-like for the three other elements and feathered for Aerioni.
:bulletgreen: The Terrichoni appear to be the only ones that actually have markings. Their colorschemes can vary a lot, too; regardless of where they live, though, all colors remain within the earthy, warm palette with brighter mane and tail colors. Jungle ones tend to be extremely brightly colored while Terrichoni of deep woods in colder areas are covered with dark, intense palette.
:bulletblue: Just as all Draìchoni, the Aquoni have four limbs and a pair of wings; due to their living both underwater and on land, they can transform their back legs as they will, but on the ground will always be pretty clumsy. The main purpose they use their wings for is to wrap themselves tightly, covering front legs, for better aquadynamics. This and their wide and flat whale-like tail allows them to reach great speeds in water. Aquoni who live in open sea and ocean hardly ever leave water, so they almost lost the ability to transform their limbs for walking. They can reach incredible sizes, though, unlike the ones that live in smaller bodies of water.
:bulletpurple: What does exactly "element chanters" mean? It means that every Draìchon uses its own tune to control its element. Feuchoni use growls and quirks; Aerioni use shrieks and peeps; Terrochoni use calm sounds and purrs; Aquoni use deep sounds barely within human hearing range. Strange as it sounds, with all the noise they produce comes an odd, wild harmony straight from the magical features of their voices. Besides those sounds each individual has their own, unique tune, which is emitted the same way a cat purrs when they chant elements. With each other they communicate using common language or directly via telepathy bond they can produce with a mate, its child or very close friend. Aerioni can also craft amulets allowing communication between more than two individuals of the same subspecies. These are given to leaders to allow better communication on great distances.

EDIT: I fixed some details that weren't compatible with ones provided in the full sheet and resized the file, 'cause it took ages to load on my computer.

The Draìchoni species and concept belong to me - STEAL&DIE. Feel free to draw them, though; if you have any questions in case of drawing 'em, just ask. :)
